Same Sex Marriages

The bill to implement the Civil Partnership Bill within the Social Welfare system passed through the final stages of Government approval on Friday 17th of December 2010 and same sex couples will now be able to apply from early January 2011 with a three month notice period of their intention.

It is understood the HSE registrar will be able to legally register a same sex couple at approved venues and I am delighted to say that we have been approved.

There is no actual ceremony involved and its a case of a couple signing an agreement in the presence of the registrar, indicating their desire to register as being partners. Ireland is now the perfect Same Sex Destination Wedding Location for the first time.094-9023249
